## FAQ

### Which AI assistants can connect to ClawLI?

Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth: ChatGPT, Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), Cursor, VS Code, Codex, and other MCP clients such as Windsurf, Zed and Goose.

### Do I have to share my password or an API key?

No. The assistant sends you to ClawLI to sign in and shows you exactly what it is asking for. ClawLI then gives that assistant its own revocable access. Your password never leaves ClawLI.

### Can the assistant send messages or publish posts for me?

No. The connector has no send, publish, schedule or delete actions at all. It can save post drafts and record outreach you tell it about. Publishing still happens in ClawLI, with your approval.

### What data can the assistant see?

Only what you can already see in ClawLI. Every request runs as you, inside your workspace permissions. Contact details stay masked wherever they are masked for you in the app.

### How do I disconnect an assistant?

Open Settings, then Connected assistants, and choose Disconnect. You can also remove the connector from the assistant itself. Either way, its access stops immediately.

### Does ChatGPT deep research work with ClawLI?

Yes. ClawLI provides the search and fetch tools ChatGPT uses for deep research and company knowledge, and every result links back to the record in ClawLI so answers are cited.

### Does connecting an assistant cost extra?

No. The connector is included with your ClawLI account. Your assistant plan (ChatGPT, Claude and so on) is billed by its own provider.
